Keepsake

Turn your parents' life stories into a book — in their own voice.

Moonray transforms a lifetime into a book for future generations to read.

Their stories stay private, encrypted, and always theirs.

We all mean to ask.

About their childhood, first love, struggles, and the stories behind our family.

But memories fade, details blur, and one day, the storyteller is no longer here.

Moonray preserves their life stories, turning a lifetime of memories into a timeless book for generations to come.

How it works

No app to learn. They just talk — and a book takes shape.

Meet Sara

Sara is a warm AI memoir writer on Telegram who speaks like family. Your parent sends a voice note whenever a memory surfaces — at noon, or at 2 a.m. Sara listens, and asks the next good question.

Sara remembers everything

Names, years, who was where. Sara holds the whole tangled cast of a life, so your parent can wander the way people really remember — and nothing gets lost.

Receive The Book

Once your parent has finished sharing their stories, you'll receive a digital draft for review. After confirming everything looks right, you can receive the final book as a PDF, or order a beautifully printed physical copy to keep for generations.

Not a transcript. A book.

Moonray doesn't dump their words on a page. It edits them into real prose — their facts and their phrases kept exactly — and lays them out like the memoir they'd have written if they'd ever had the time.

And their voice stays — every story kept exactly as they told it, so a grandchild not yet born can one day hear them.

Preserve Their Story Across Languages

Even if future generations don't speak their grandparents' language, their stories don't have to be lost. Receive the final book in your preferred language, so every generation can understand and cherish their legacy.

Built to be trusted.

Encrypted, always.

Every memory is encrypted the moment it's saved, under a key unique to your family.

Delete anything, anytime.

They can delete any part of their story or the entire story at any time.

Sara is honest about being an AI.

On the very first hello, your parent is told plainly that Sara is an AI. Nothing is disguised.

Questions families ask

My mother or father isn't good with technology. Can they really use this?

Yes — there's nothing to learn. Sara works directly inside Telegram. Your parent simply sends a voice message, like leaving a voicemail, and Sara replies in text.

What if my parent doesn't have Telegram? How do they get started?

No problem. Telegram is free and takes a minute to install — and we guide you (or your parent) through every step, in plain, simple language. You're never on your own for the setup.

Do they have to write anything, or can they just talk?

Just talk. Almost everyone speaks their stories aloud as voice notes — it's easier and warmer than writing, especially for long memories. Sara listens and turns it into the book. Typing is always optional.

How much time does it take, and how often?

The timeline depends on how much time your parent wants to dedicate each week, and how much of their story they wish to share. It can take as little as two months, or extend up to a year.

Are these really their own words, or does the AI make things up?

Their own words, always. Sara never invents facts or memories — it edits what your parent actually said into clear, readable prose, keeping their facts, their phrasing, and their voice. Your parent reviews the draft before anything is final, and if Sara isn't sure about something, it asks rather than guesses.

Can I read everything my parent tells Sara?

No — and that's on purpose. You receive the finished book, not the raw conversations. Your parent decides what becomes part of their story and what stays private. You're giving them the gift; the stories remain theirs.

My children don't read my parents' language. Can we get the book in another language?

Yes. The final book can be delivered in your family's preferred language, so grandchildren who don't speak it can still grow up connected to these stories.

Before the details blur.

Moonray is opening to a first circle of families.
